History of BIRDY Concern (BC)
From the beginning, BC was not called BIRDY Concern but Birdy Design and also Legency media design and very long time ago: Musk Bistro Coffeé Bar which was a common place for us young people at that time. I moved down to Gothenburg 1983. I worked from time to time as a DJ, at various events and more. I called myself Birdy just then because there were some people my real name: Björn in english- Bear.
I got a profession that led to many more professions: Event work, creating various events in the city. This also became my springboard to other similar professions as well as my burnout. What I got to be a part of creating was the Gothenburg Carnival from the year: 1988 until the year 2012. It was very stressful and extremely fun to get all the people together and dance, be happy and show their compassion and warmth towards other cultures and more.
Later I got to be involved in creating a Social Entrepreneurship here in the city.
It was named: Tolerance Service Partners. And the company would make small point efforts,
in a famous business area. What was sad about it ending was the fact that we had worked out a proper contract that would lead us to a financial balance and that we would just then become wholesalers and start renting out certain parts of our premises for a reasonable Award.
Was that other efforts did not like that, we would have a better life and be able to
help other people in the same situation.
The social enterprise was between the years 2014-2016.
I attended a number of educations and worked with about 5-8 full-time professions and association activities on this which led to my burnout which was about years: 2009-2011.

I started some internet sites and registered on various social sites, which today I may not really have the strength to fix. So I started an internet based business with consulting in mind. Plus a lot of other things that I brought up, I first thought that no one would want to give me an assignment .. I was wrong.
So I got to grips with this and started working even harder. You already know how this ends,
I ran into the famous wall, I had run through other “walls” but this was the very “wall of life”,
in fact it was my body that had had enough of all the work, I had then deep lying muscular inflammations and other accesses on my ligaments and other parts of my body screamed: Help.
In this I started to change the concept itself so I took up the name Birdy again and the rest is really history. Now to the BIRDY Concern that I have had this idea for a very long time, to feel that I can do something, maybe you also get inspired and want to join? Birdy is also a game with my name which is Björn, it may seem a bit far-fetched, but it’s not quite right to assume this, for example in the Viking language, my name means: Seen from above, king, strong, power, dominion, fertility, motherhood, protection and courage. Björn is also associated with resurrection. As well as with sweeping winds. And what animal sweeps up in the air that can look down on all of us here? A bird, right?

Male name of Germanic origin derived from the Old German “bernuz” (bear). The current form of the name comes from the Old Norse “bjorn”. Björn has been known since Viking times, and as a common first name in the Munsö family, the dynasty that ruled over Birka and Svitjod in the ninth century. Latinized to Biornus. Björn began to become popular as a first name in the 1940s and reached a peak in the 1970s. Since then, the popularity has declined sharply. There are about 61493 men with the first name Björn.
Birdy (English), adjective = Possible Acts.
Bird (Swedish) adjective = Eventually and Works and /or Action.
And of course the animal Bird.
Concern (English), something or someone that causes anxiety; a source of unhappiness;
“New York traffic is a constant concern”; “it’s a major worry”, something that interests you
because it is important or affects you; “the safety of the ship is the captain’s concern”,
a feeling of sympathy for someone or something; “She felt strong concern for those less fortunate”.
Concern (Swedish) is an economic constellation between independent companies in order to coordinate the activities that are included. Parent companies and subsidiaries together form a group. The definition of a subsidiary is that the parent company must have a controlling influence.
